My grandmother gave me a two-postcard set of a clipped wing Meteor IV that my great grandmother gave to my grandad. He served at Duxford for his national service in the 1950s (?) and was involved in photographic reconnaissance, working on Gloucester Meteors. He was medically discharged after being caught up in an accident whilst being transported across the airbase. I don't think they ever knew what happened he just ended up in hospital and never went back. We lost him last year after several years of dementia. Joseph Taylor ✝️
