Hi everyone! Winter has officially come to California and we are getting one of our first atmospheric rivers. I'm amazed how many new terms we have for weather that we didn't have even five years ago. Should be the perfect weather to get some writing done!

This week I bought an under desk treadmill, it's very flat and I like it more than I thought I would. I'm not great on a regular treadmill and have gone flying off the back many times LOL. But I think since this is not as elevated I can actually walk and type at the same time. YAY. I also tried Tai Chi. I used to workout a lot there was one year I only missed one week and that was because I was out of town. But now I don't want to do the same workout I did then. I tried yoga several times, not for me. It's too slow and I don't like all the holding the stretch thing. But Tai Chi I do like so far. Hopefully I feel that way in a week :)

This week I watched the new Frankenstein and really liked it. They changed the story a bit but it was good. I also watched Nobody 2, loved it, and started watching The Untamed. I've put it off for so long since I don't like subtitles, if it's dubbed I can do other things without having to pay such close attention. I also watched the last episode of The Witcher and didn't love the ending but I also thought this was the last season.

When you just happen to be a jellyfish shifter, things can get a little, well, tingly whenever you touch the wrong person too much. Talk about a dating faux-pas. Leaving your partner with itchiness, burning, and reddish purple welts all over sensitive areas tended to result in being ghosted. A state that was no fun at all and even a bit depressing when you happened to be a social creature, like me.

The only good thing to come from trolling a bar for a bit of competition on the pool table and maybe even someone to share a few drinks with, was meeting the coolest pair of sea turtles this side of one of my favorite animated movies. Seriously laid back and chill, they offer to show me around the area and help make my transition from island hopper to island resident complete.

At least my new sea turtle buddies are immune to my venom and interested in being more than just friends with benefits. Merry flippin' Christmas to me on that point, there might be a bit of tinsel and bows in my future after all.
