Hugh here. I hope this newsletter finds you well. The weather is growing colder in the Northern hemisphere, a perfect time to grab a good book. Or, if your down under, perhaps a beach read!

Some News About Pre-Orders

Work continues on the next two Black Kat books: Star Crossed and The White King, which will be out this winter. If you have pre-ordered the books on Barnes & Noble, Apple, Google Play, or Kobo, you'll notice the release dates have changed a little- merely a matter of weeks due to minor delays.

Unfortunately, Amazon is far less forgiving and punishes authors if they push a release back more than a month or two in a year. They will NOT allow us to change the date again on our own books (we tried), which means our considerable number of existing pre-orders will be cancelled this week.

I am terribly sorry for this inconvenience. However, the books will be available on Amazon as soon as they're completed, so you won't have to wait long. We'll just have to list them again and will not be able to do any other pre-orders there for an entire year. It's ridiculous, but that's Amazon.

In the meantime, there are plenty of spooky reads to enjoy here. I hope you have a safe and Happy Halloween, and will send you another update next month!
