I'm pleased to share that "Mission to Osoogun", the latest episode of the Crowther Project documentary series, has been selected for the IREPRESENT International Documentary Film Festival, now in its 15th edition.

The screening schedule

On behalf of the team, I invite you to the festival. "Mission to Osoogun" will screen at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Freedom Park, off Broad Street.

The festival gathers filmmakers, scholars, enthusiasts, and storytellers worldwide who "engage in conversations that shape our understanding of reality through the power of documentary films". 

According to the organisers, this year's theme will spotlight "the tension between individual rights — such as freedom of speech, personal autonomy, and the pursuit of prosperity—and the role of the state and institutions in curbing those freedoms in the interest of public safety, national security, or the rights of others."

It will also "interrogate the impact of misinformation and disinformation in the digital age, where the line between truth and falsehood is often blurred".
