Next Class and Health Issues of Belly Button Rings
Feb 05, 2026 11:56 am
Greetings,
Spring will soon be in the air and that means I’ve gone to the calendar to put on a date for the next Biomedx Live Hands-on Microscope and Health Foundations Workshop.
Yep, it will be a marvelment of microscopes, meters, measures and more to help you gain mastery of the mysteries of health science that have eluded many mortals for more than a millennium.
At least.
Certainly since the 1920’s.
You know, the time when a few mortal men gained a monopoly over health care through buying political favor to capture a market.
Oh yes. They did that. And a hundred years later it’s still in place.
But that system is dying. And the game is changing.
And that’s where you come in.
Attend a workshop and expand your learning and/or practice to tutor, teach, coach, educate, and facilitate what health is and what health does in new ways for yourself, family, clients, patients.
Recall the butterfly effect…
…an idea in chaos theory suggesting everything is connected and a small change in one area can have a much larger impact elsewhere. Metaphorically speaking, when the butterfly flaps its wings in one corner of the world, it can cause a hurricane elsewhere weeks later.
I like the idea that a small change can create a large effect. Perhaps I should start the Biomedx Butterfly Health Initiative. Where one small step, okay, one small flap, will create a hurricane of desperately needed logic, principle, and common sense for today’s health care system.
In fact, you can join us in the wing flapping at the April 23-26 Biomedx Biotorium Workshop Event. Location is just outside of Chicago, ten minutes from the airport, easy-peasy to get to from anywhere. Learn more and enroll here:
Speaking of the butterfly effect, I’ve been flapping my own little wings here for a long time now in the health arena working to create a hurricane that I sense is coming yet the time of its arrival escapes me.
In a move to continue my efforts, I thought a review of the newsletters I’ve sent out over the past few years was in order, maybe to put more of them on the Biomedx Blog. Reading through them however, I realized, wow, in a lot of these I really
Get a Bit Political!
I guess I can’t help myself. Politics is so deeply intertwined with health care and endless agendas that it just creates so much material to be writing about.
Recently I came across a post of something I had never heard before. The statement was made that within the anatomy of every biological female is a ‘shunt’ of a sort that feeds the uterine area for purposes of sustaining a pregnancy.
Males don’t have this and consequently, because of blood flow dynamics, and within the context of athletics, males will always have an edge over females in areas like VO2max – the indicator that measures oxygen utilization during exercise. The higher the level, the more endurance and performance potential one has.
Looking into anatomy for this uterine ‘shunt’ was informative. I could not find it. It doesn’t exist. Where this story was concerned, I had to file it in my Uranus folder.
That’s probably the same folder the poster pulled it out of – a place for ideas that are just out of this world and in a different orbit.
VO2max on the other hand is a real thing. And the absolute difference in physiology from an XY biological male to an XX female means males will ALWAYS have up to 20% higher VO2max advantage than females. This is fundamental physiology of the male that can never be changed.
Immutable biological facts are what they are, but for some people, for some reason, this does not seem to register.
There was a recent congressional hearing discussing males in female sports wherein a female medical doctor was asked the question, "can men become pregnant?"
She would not answer.
When consistently asked, "just answer yes or no, can men become pregnant", this physician would hem and haw, and for at least 3 to 4 minutes she could not let the word ‘no’ pass her lips.
Her final answer, before time ran out, was to say that this is something we need to have a dialogue about.
Good grief!
If there was ever a hint that political persuasion, agendas, and propaganda is able to sway a mind all the way to the orbit of Uranus, this is it.
Long ago I attended a preview of a movie, ‘America, Freedom to Fascism’, made by Hollywood director Aaron Russo, since deceased. He relayed to the small audience his conversations with one of the very wealthy old money elites.
The gist of one conversation went like something like this: “The feminist movement? We did that.” While there was much more to the conversation than that, the implication was that they do what they do to move society in directions they want in order to gain control and ultimate power over everything.
I can imagine, with the levers they control, they occasionally throw things into the societal collective just to see what happens, solely for their entertainment.
One day, nose rings started to show up on a whole lot of people. And I am thinking, what is this about?
Historically, a nose ring, in the context of managing livestock, symbolizes ownership and control and pegs an animal’s status as property.
Okay, I get it. I surmise these guys did it. They put it out there in some ‘fashion’ and it took off. Laughing at what they could accomplish with what they perceive as their chattel. Us.
Transgender ideology? Yeah, they probably started that one too.
Over time and with a rabid army of converts pounding on anyone who does not agree, even a supposed woman of science can have her brain massaged to the outer limits while taking her knowledge of basic biology with it.
And then there are belly button rings.
You probably thought I’d never get to it.
Okay, I’m coming up empty on that one. I don’t know where it came from.
Maybe it is just a fashion statement which will go the way of togas and bell bottoms at some point.
But Beware of What you Wear.
I was talking with a practitioner the other day who was working with a client whose challenge was getting pregnant. She wanted to be pregnant but just couldn’t get there.
Now my brain has a tendency to first look at foundational mineral and nutritional status. Where fertility is concerned, it goes to the mineral manganese.
Manganese is required to manufacture the germ of life. Carey Reams, a soil agronomist that successfully applied his knowledge to the human condition, called manganese the element of life. Without it, there would be no life on our planet as it is required for the very candle of life to be lit.
But before I could even mention it, the practitioner shared that her client wore a belly button ring and she had her client remove it. Shortly thereafter, the client became pregnant.
The Body is Such an Amazing Thing
Minerals stepping off the periodic table of elements create everything in our world and without a balanced mineral, environmental, and nutritional foundation in one’s life, things can go askew. And not just with physical health, but with mental health as well.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but a lot of people seem to be going a bit crazy lately.
When you find people that are in a different emotional and mental orbit who have lost their grounding to logic, principles, and common sense, however they got pushed there, the odds are high they also have an associated mineral and nutritional imbalance that is going unrecognized.
At one level we are material beings in a material world and our very grounding in it is dependent on our core vital mineral and nutritional reserves that keep us tethered to health.
Look at Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium.
These minerals control the autonomic nervous system.
Imbalanced in the body one way, and a person can be thrown to the far side of the parasympathetic nervous system, a place where some can become, let’s say, a bit too airy-fairy.
Imbalanced the other way, swinging to the far side of the sympathetic nervous system, and low and behold, dare offend someone there, and they might just want to lash out and crush your skull.
Four basic minerals. Yet very much key to actions in life.
Knowing how health unfolds in the human condition is one of the most valuable things you can own and can share.
I don’t care whether a person is gay, trans, black, brown, purple, has pink hair, nose rings, voted for Trump, Biden, or their dog. It’s life. It’s wild. We’re on a ride. It’s about love and we all have a mission of sorts.
From a Native American perspective, life is a circle, and in time, we all come back to the medicine wheel.
The caterpillar moves, grounded to the earth. One day it experiences a metamorphosis and with butterfly wings and butterfly eyes, it takes in a new view all the way to the horizon.
I’m inviting you to come to a our next Biomedx workshop in April and see a view of health that goes far, and wide, and you might say, even into the quantum.
And if you can’t make it to this one, know that our online educational platform at edu.biomedx.com still has lifetime membership access and that will certainly get you started.
The objective? To join us with butterfly eyes and wings to help create the hurricane of positive change that is coming to health care, because, it’s happening.
Till next time, may your blessings be abundant.
Steve
