Why most people don’t notice your business online

One of the biggest part of marketing is staying in people’s minds.

A mistake many small business owners make is posting only once in a while. Maybe you post today, then disappear for two weeks. By the time you come back, people have forgotten you. That’s why you feel like your page is “not working.” It’s not that people don’t like your product, it’s that you’re not showing up enough.

Think about it like this: you probably know a food seller in your area who is not the cheapest, but you buy from them anyway because you see them every day. They’re visible. They remind you they exist, without even talking. That’s how marketing works too.

If you only post when you feel like it, you’ll always be invisible. But if you show up regularly with simple things like product photos, customer reviews, or even tips related to what you sell, you stay on people’s minds. And when they’re ready to buy, they’ll think of you first.

Consistency doesn’t mean posting ten times a day. It means deciding to show up in a way you can manage. For example, posting three times a week, or running a small ad every weekend. Over time, these little touches add up, and that’s how you build trust.
