Multiple assets confusion

If you’ve ever opened Meta Ads Manager and wondered why your ads aren’t showing, or why your Pixel isn’t tracking anything, this might be the reason.

Here’s the problem:

Many businesses don’t properly connect all their assets; their Facebook Page, Instagram account, Pixel, ad account, and domain to the same Business Manager.

It sounds small, but it causes big issues:

  1. Your ads can’t pull data from your Pixel.
  2. You can’t see results from your website traffic.
  3. Your Instagram handle doesn’t show under your ad.
  4. Permissions get messy, especially when teams or agencies are involved.

Basically, Facebook doesn’t know all these assets belong to you, so your system breaks quietly in the background.

1. Go to your Meta Business Suite settings.

2. Under “Accounts,” check that your Facebook Page, Instagram account, and ad account are all added there.

3. Under “Data Sources,” make sure your Pixel is connected to that same Business Manager.

4. Assign the right people or partners with the right permissions.

Once everything lives under one roof, your ads can finally “talk” to each other, data flows correctly, tracking works, and delivery improves.

Don’t skip this step. It’s one of those small technical details that separate a chaotic ad setup from a clean, scalable one and this hugely affects your ad performance access the meta platforms.

If you want to make sure your meta suite is clean, with all assets properly connected, my team can help.
