We begin the three-week countdown to the end of registration for Night Under The Lights this week. Following on the success of Above The Rim in August, we hope to build on that coming into the Fall season. Get your 3-on-3 team together for October 16-17, 2020 as we battle it out at Shrine Auditorium.
Tournament Format
The tournament format is structured as a seeded double elimination tournament. The first game you play on Friday evening will be to determine seeding. The second game you play Friday night will be the first of the double elimination play. Your third game will be Saturday late morning - lose that game and go home; win that game and keep playing.
Teams can register in divisions starting at 1st & 2nd Grade all the way up to adult divisions. Boys and girls are split. Registration is $119.
COVID-19 Safety Precautions
Of course, we are taking extra safety precautions in response to COVID-19:
- Max of 4 guests/spectators per player, subject maximum facility capacity constraints
- Cleaning procedures in place for the facility
- Masks required for spectators (including athletes before/after games)
- Players will receive hand sanitizer before and after each game
- Social distancing will be observed in stands with families/groups at least 6 feet apart
- Everyone entering the gymnasium will use hand sanitizer
- Everyone entering the gymnasium will receive a temperature check via infrared thermometer
Safety precautions are for EVERYONE's benefit and required so that we can host as safe of an event as possible. Please assist in complying with safety guidelines.
How to Register
Regular registration will close October 9. Schedules will be issued to team captains by Wednesday October 14 via email and posted on our Facebook page. For all the latest updates, make sure you hit "going" on the Facebook event page [link].
