As with all great things, minor tweaks make it even better. We have made a few slight changes to the schedule since yesterday's initial release (aren't these things always a draft?).
Impacted teams (all 7th & 8th Grade Teams):
- Lil Ndn Gurls & Outlaws - now playing at 2:40pm
- Blackout & Bullet Train - now playing at 6:50pm
- Crafted Basketball, Little Herders, G.O. Hoops 8th, Warriors - reshuffled opponents at 3:30pm
Clarified COVID Guidance
- Fans/spectators are allowed (encouraged, in fact!) Admission for all non-players/non-coaches is $5 per person - cash preferred.
- We are encouraging fans/spectators to leave the gymnasium in between games to reduce crowd sizes. Wrist bands will be issued to gain re-entry the same day.
- We WILL take your temperature at the door.
- Masks are required for everyone walking in the door. Players may remove masks during game play.
Reminder: Tournament Format
Each team will play two games of round robin on Saturday to determine seeding. Seeding is determined by win percentage. Tie breakers are, in order: head-to-head, point differential (up to 10), points allowed, points scored.
5th & 6th grade will advance all 10 teams to a single elimination bracket.
7th & 8th grade will advance the top 10 teams to the "gold" single elimination bracket, and the bottom 10 teams to the "silver" single elimination bracket. Each bracket will have their own champion. The two champions will not face off.
All single elimination bracket games will be played on Sunday.
Thanks!
William & Nik
