Hey there ,

This morning I wanted to write something inspirational, but if I’m being honest, I don’t really have much of a motivational message to give. I do however have a hearts posture. 

There is A LOT that I hope to accomplish, but life and humanity doesn’t always give leniency to goals…. no matter how much you try to power through. On days like today, I quiet myself and pray. I decided to let you in on mine, in case you needed some words to borrow and use as your own. 

Lord, give me the grace to finish what you sparked in me. Help me use courage to drown out the noises of society and the voices of opinions that don’t align with you. I want to hear Your voice as my guide. Help me to prioritize and stay focused on the path you send me on. I don’t want a deviation, or distraction; because everything that is shiny isn’t gold. I know that there is help, hope and healing attached to my gifts. I want to use them to help both myself and others. Please send, healing, hope and assistance to those I cannot help, but want to. 

I will do my best not to worry about the things I cant control, because you told me to “not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Phil. 4:6). So I’m giving you every doubt I have in myself, and in how my story is supposed to play out. I thank you for the grace you’re giving me along the way.
