I wanted to invite you to something fun we’re starting in the gardening community this spring.

I’m sending free seeds to anyone who mails a self-addressed stamped envelope.

The idea is simple: gardeners all across the country will grow the same plants at the same time and share their progress along the way.

We’ll be posting photos and updates inside our gardening community (which now has over 40,000 gardeners sharing ideas and pictures), and some of those posts will also be featured in upcoming YouTube videos.

If you’d like to join the experiment, just mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

We’ll send the seeds back to you.

Just make sure your envelope is postmarked by March 17 so we can include you in the grow-along.

When your seeds arrive, take a photo when you plant them and post it in the Facebook group so everyone can see how things are progressing around the country.

I’m excited to see how many places these seeds end up being grown this year.
