The morning Habits of the Most successful People.

First of all, do you have a morning routine? Something that you do every day irrespective of how you feel.


I do. I call it my early morning starter pack.


I don't get to work except I have completed this routine, except on days I am passing the night outside my apartment. It lasts between 4 am & 9 am.


Let's unpack what I do in that hour:


  • 1 hour of Tahajjud (Night Vigil).
  • 45 minutes reading the Quran (Muslim's holy book)
  • 30 minutes of exercise.
  • 1 hour listening to a podcast or watching a YouTube video
  • 2 hours reading a book from my shelf.
  • Then I would spend the rest preparing for the day ahead.


These activities might look like a lot but I don't feel wholesome unless I complete them.


Come to think of it, I didn't use to spend my morning this way until I read the 5 am club by Robin Sharma. That book would make you rethink how you spend your morning.

Of course, there are days I don't make judicious use of my morning. After all, I'm human. But since I graduated from uni, I strive every day to maintain this routine.
