When you see TikTok Influencers as mini gods, you struggle to sign good deals with them.

Before you DM an influencer. Decide how much you wanna pay for the Ads (in your mind).

Immediately the influencer calls out his or her fee. Make an offer below the price you intend to pay.

If the influencer finds your offer ridiculous. He will show his displeasure. Which is not a bad thing. He can't beat you. He can only snap at you online.

But should the influencer try to make a counteroffer?

You are on your way to bagging a good deal with him.

Say an influencer bills me 100k. And I have 30k to spend on Ads. I will make an offer of 20k. If he makes a counteroffer of 50k. Eventually, we will settle at 30k.

The way you negotiate offline is the same way you negotiate with Influencers online.

If you enter a boutique to buy clothes. A typical Omo Igbo will triple the price of the cloth. But do you buy at that price? NO!!!

You make a ridiculous offer to bruise his ego. Las Las he sends you out of his shop. Which is almost impossible. He needs your money as much as you need his clothes.

Influencers are normal people like you and me. You're richer than some of them. I once had a famous TikToker living in my compound. Nothing special about her.

Some of them beg for hotspots to come online. Tinubu is showing them SEGE too. I repeat they need the money too. Forget the lifestyle they live online. Treat them like you would treat a colleague in school.

Closing Influencers at cheap prices shouldn't be a problem.
