WhatsApp Marketing is dead

I need to bring this to your attention because it’s serious.
The end of WhatsApp marketing is closer than most people think.
And I’m not the one saying this… it’s coming directly from Meta themselves.
For reasons best known to them, Meta has started clamping down on marketers who use WhatsApp for promotions.
It looks like they want to keep WhatsApp as a private messaging app, not a marketing channel.
Recently, advertisers running TikTok or Facebook ads to WhatsApp groups have noticed something strange -huge discrepancies between the leads shown on their dashboard and the actual number of people joining their groups.
Imagine seeing 100 conversions reported in your Ads Manager, but only 33 people actually inside your WhatsApp group.
That’s how bad it’s gotten.
And this isn’t an isolated case. Facebook advertisers are reporting the exact same thing. So clearly, this is a Meta-wide decision. Not a glitch.
To make things worse, WhatsApp bans have skyrocketed.
Accounts are being banned indiscriminately especially when you start generating large numbers of leads.
It’s frustrating. And that’s why smart marketers are pivoting fast towards Telegram and email marketing.
Personally, I’ve given all my clients an ultimatum to start transitioning away from WhatsApp.
If you’re thinking of doing the same, I highly recommend this Telegram marketing course by Mathias, a 7-figure marketer who’s doing incredible numbers using Telegram.
I’m currently learning from him too, and it’s been eye-opening.
