1,500 leads in 1 week -a curse or a blessing?

60 months ago, if someone had told me I could generate 1,500 leads to WhatsApp in just 7 days, I would have laughed it off.


The best I had ever done was 1,500 leads in one month. But last week, that changed. We did the unthinkable.


Not by luck. But by strategy.


Day 1: 300 leads

Day 2: 400 more ...and it just kept coming.


By the 7th day, we had 1,500 leads. Everyone was excited. Me. The client. The team. Then... disaster struck. At 2:13 AM, I got a call from the client:


"Please switch off the ads." I was confused.


Everything was working perfectly — high-quality leads, real buyers, and sales rolling in. 8 sales came in that very day alone. ₦500,000+ in revenue. Still, I turned off the ads.


Then another message came in:

"Please, turn off the ads. My WhatsApp has been temporarily suspended."


My heart dropped. We had done everything right — but maybe too right. WhatsApp flagged the account due to the volume of incoming leads. Crazy, right?


We’ve recovered the account now. The ads are still paused while we sort out a better lead-handling system. Because our next goal? 3,000 leads a week.


So I ask you: Is 1,500 leads in 7 days a curse… or a blessing?
