Which Influencer should you use for your next Ads?

A lot of advertisers on TikTok are getting this wrong.

Merely looking at some of the videos (Ads) popping up on my fyp.

I can tell they're not converting.

Or what do you expect of a skit maker promoting a ghostwriting course?

Or a comedian promoting an affiliate marketing course?

Or a singer promoting a freelancing course?

Anyone doing that shouldn't expect positive results.

Except she's comfortable with attracting time wasters & freebie seekers.

Here's what I want you to know;

People who invest in themselves follow creators that gingers them to invest in themselves.

Of course, nobody is going on TikTok to take maths lessons.

People go on TikTok to get entertained.

Yes, I agree.

However, there's a tiny percentage of people out there who use TikTok to improve their lives.

They follow creators who do not only entertain them.

But also motivate, encourage & speak positive things into their lives.

These types of creators are the best for promoting online courses.

Before you even begin the search for creators, You must establish the following:

  • The age group of your ideal customers
  • Current Phase in life
  • Identify what type of content is relevant to their current phase of life.

Let's do this with a ghostwriting course:

  • Age 25 - 35
  • Fresh graduates seeking jobs
  • Employment tips, interview Tips, Scholarship, Japa, CV review etc...

Once you've obtained that, On the TikTok search bar;

Search for creators using the "content idea" as the keyword.

"Employment Tips + Vloggers"

For easy search.

Add geographical location to your search

"CV review + Nigeria"

Just play around with the keywords & search.

A fresh graduate who is desperately looking for a job is not only going to be on TikTok to laugh his ass out.

He would also be there to see how he can secure a job.

I hope you get the logic now.

This cuts across any demography of people you are targeting.

If your target audience is 9-5 workers, undergraduates, newlyweds... etc...

Identify what type of keywords interest them and use that to search for creators in that niche.
