Has anybody ever asked you that question before, ?

Well, my call with a friend ended with that yesterday.

Not because I was in any way mad at him. But it sent shock waves down my spine in a way I've never experienced.

After rolling over my bed for a couple of hours trying to fall asleep (though the sleep won't come). I reached out for my phone on the other side of the bed to call back a friend whose call I'd missed.

He picked it up immediately it rang. Never seen a guy like that before. If it was possible, Fawaz would pick up the phone even before it rang. Call him at midnight & his thick Egba accent is on the other side of the phone yelling "Hello".

We exchanged pleasantries, had a little bit of chit-chat, and what seemed to be a friendly chat got serious.

It started with his congratulatory message; "Congratulations on your sign-out from the uni. Now that you're done with school, what's the plan?"

I walked him through what I've been up to lately. While I spoke, I discovered a challenge; my day is filled with excess "free time".

Here's the thing...

I used to think I was a busy person. I believed my online business was enough to keep me occupied. But that was a lie which just got busted now that schooling is out of the picture.

The free time I've always yearned for is here but I don't know what to do with it.

As humans, we wish for more when we cannot manage more than we currently have. That's the situation I'm in right now.
