This morning, I woke up to a message from a frustrated affiliate marketer who lost 100k running ads on TikTok.

He wasn't scammed by a TikTok influencer. Nor was his campaign video banned. Nor did he have a problem with the link on the influencer's bio.

So what was the problem?

After three trials, he had only succeded in generating ZERO LEADS.

He concluded his message by saying:

"Benson, this thing you're teaching doesn't work anymore. Stop lying to us"

Well, I shouldn't expect any better from those who take joy in blaming others for the outcome of their poor choices.

Don't get me wrong. when students fail, the teacher should share part of the blame. But not this time around.

After I reveal to you what this guy did, you'll agree with me that he architected his downfall.

In December, while I was running the end-of-the-year 50% discount on my blueprint, this dude was in my DM. He wanted to get my blueprint.

Midway, he requested that I offer him a special discount which I declined.

"Discount on top discount. Who does that?"

He stopped replying to my messages & that was the last time I heard from him until this morning, with his complaints.

I wanted to ignore his cries. But as the bigger person, I looked into his campaign videos.

It was obvious his campaign failed because he chose the wrong influencer.

A 5-year-old trained by me would have detected that problem... EASILY!!!

He wouldn't have made that kind of mistake if he had my blueprint. I'm dead sure of that.

I said it to his face:

"I thought you didn't need me. So why are you here? You claimed my blueprint was expensive at 10k but you had 100k to dump Ads?"

Assuming I was even informed when he was about to run the Ads. I would have advised him that spending 100k on Ads as a beginner was a little bit too much.

Start small. And scale later. That's what I tell my students.

And this is my problem with a lot of affiliate marketers.

They say to me they can't afford my blueprint.

But will not hesitate to dump 100k on Influencers without learning the rules of the game.

And when they get burnt, they'll be back in my DM crying like a baby.

Who in his right senses puts the cart before the horse?

Trying tiktok influencer marketing on your own without having the required knowledge is synonymous with going to war without being armed.

You'll be defeated. No doubt about that.

TikTok influencer marketing is only dead before those who have failed to learn from the right source.
