You're being lied to

Is the mainstream media a lying piece of sh*t?

I think so, and there's a crucial marketing lesson in there that can help you do better in business (If you own one or if you're think of starting one)

We'll get to that in a minute...

But first...

Let's straighten something out;

I have nothing against Journalists

And I'm not saying you shouldn't try to keep up with current world events... (Politics, the economy, sports etc)

Far from it.

In fact....

You should make a conscious effort to keep your fingers on the pulse of the globe.

But the way to go about it is not by trusting every piece of news the mainstream media pushes out

Whether it's CNN,

Or NTA

Or Uncle Segun (We all have that one person in our life who sees it as his duty to tell us the latest)

Take whatever comes out of the news with a pinch of salt.

99% of Journalists, social media influencers and even so-called activists only say what they're paid to say.

The few who dare speak the truth as it is, without bias and without fear, have their lives threatened by the "powers that be."

Mostly, they disappear without trace.

Look:

Question what you're being told,

Don't be afraid to analyze what you read, see or hear before believing it,

Even if everyone you know is swearing by their genitals that what the news is saying is true,

You should still question it.

And here's why:

Look around you...

How many people are thinking critically for themselves?

1/10 maybe?

The truth is, many people have their thinking done for them.

Don't be like many people.

Think for yourself.

Remain skeptical of any information you see, hear or read until you've done your own research and drawn your own conclusions.

Keep your guard up.

Treat the mainstream media like a cheating ex.

A lying piece of shit who's trying to come back into your life for only god knows what.

What's the marketing lesson here?

Simply this:

Your prospects don't have to believe anything you say.

But it is your job to provide them with solid proof that what you're selling is not a lie.

And then allow them decide whether or not they want to believe YOU.

How do you do this?

You do it by using:

● Written Testimonials from your customers/clients.

● Video testimonials.

● Third party quotes from credible publications in your niche.

Screenshots.

● Charts.

● Graphs And so on.

Now, here's something:

If you're going to sell a product or service, make damn sure you're pouring your heart and soul into it.

Because when you do...

The people who use your product will get amazing results,

And in turn...

They will blow your trumpets everywhere they go.

That is, they will do free marketing for you.
