,What the best way of dealing TikTok Influencers Scammer?
Alright let's back up a bit.
A couple weeks back when I saw a message pop up in the TIMB community about a member who was scammed by an influencer after paying them to run ads.
The influencer took the money and ran.
This is not the first time it has happened to someone in the TIMB Community it has happened to me before too.
But still I was really shocked to hear about this, and it was why i included a module in the blueprint to talk about the importance of doing your research before working with any influencer there are a lot of scammers out there
In the message I saw, the person who was scammed said that they had found the influencer on TikTok and reached out to them directly. They agreed to pay the influencer a certain amount of money to run a series of ads, but the influencer never delivered.
When the person tried to contact the influencer, they were blocked.
These influencers promise great results, but they never deliver. And once they have your money, they're gone.
So what can you do to protect yourself from being scammed by a TikTok influencer?
I shared details about this inside the TIMB but for those strong head who want to run ads without getting the blueprint you can do this.
- Do your research. Before you work with any influencer, make sure to do your research Look for influencers with a good reputation and a track record of delivering results. (If you join the TIMB community you can also send the info about the influencer we’d do research together so know if this person is a scammer.)
- Want more information on this get the TikTok influencer blueprint.
But in case you've been scammed by a TikTok influencer, there are a few things you can do and you’re looking for how to get your money backed.
- Threaten to report their account.
- Show them screenshot of chats in a community with numbers.
- send them screenshot of some banned account and claim that they defraud some of your colleagues and your powerful community report and get their account banned.
It's important to do your research before working with any influencer.
If you've been scammed by a TikTok influencer, you can take these steps to protect yourself, such as contacting the influencer directly or you join the TIMB support group where you have access to a community would help you report the said influencer.
Have a good day
