3 things that makes up a good TikTok Influencer

In the beginning, When I started with this TikTok influencer marketing shii...
I used to think anyone & everyone that has lots of followers on TikTok can be considered a TikTok influencer.
With that in mind, I don't look beyond the numbers when searching for Influencers. All that mattered to me were the number of followers. And I suffered greatly for that.
It once happened that... in a single week, I lost nearly 100k (naira) in Adspend. About 6 influencers failed me. I couldn't cry.
Picking the wrong influencer will cost you more than just losing money. It can be very frustrating when you have a huge list size. And nearly everyone on that list is not your target audience -quantity without quality.
As time goes on, I began to have a clear picture of the differences between influencers that are good & bad for me...
Influencers that will get me quality leads and those who wouldn't...
Influencers with fake & real followers...
Took me lots of trials to figure that out.
But as soon as I did... Generating leads via TikTok Influencers has become a walk in the park for me.
So who are these good TikTok creators we are talking about?
Well, Let's get into it:
1- Creators that make unique videos that cannot be copied (easily) by other creators.
A good example would be Vloggers.
Say I create videos talking about my day. Nobody else can have the same day as me.
That uniqueness in my content style makes me a good pick above every other creator.
2- Creators that have built a cult-like followership. This can be detected in the way they engage with their followers in the comment section.
When followers beg for a video from a creator in the comment section. It shows they fxxk heavy with the influencer. You might want to pay attention to that creator.
3- Creators that make videos that resonate with mature minds.
Which age group would be interested in the video the Influencer is creating? What kind of people follows the creator?
A creator that glorifies fraud would have nobody but "Yahoo boys" following him.
If you promote your product with that kind of creator. You're simply setting yourself up. That's obviously a bad pick.
There are two more important qualities that make a TikTok influencer the perfect creator for your ads. I discussed this extensively in my TikTok influencer marketing in Chapter 3.
