I try to follow this rule in most of my writing.

Even when writing WhatsApp messages.

Let's begin with the first email I sent on Aug 14 on Sunday.

SL: Update why I've been AWOL.

The thought process behind this email was to tell you why I didn't send any mail the previous week.

And to tease what's to come.

Get your curiosity at attention.

SL: Why Mrs. Bills has Bitter Contempt for

Slackers

The thought process behind this is I needed to send out a curiosity-based email.

But that's not all,

What made this email perfect was the preview text.

Originally reading the SL you're wondering who Mrs Bills is and why she had bitter contempt for slacker.

The preview text shows two ways to get rich quick without doing anything illegal.

This help adds to the mystique behind the email.

On to the next email…

The next email didn't perform as I would have liked.

SL: This writing secret = ₦0 to ₦150,000+ in your pocket every week

Again the thought behind this is to send out a beneficial type of email.

Immediately as you read it, it tells you about the benefit you're going to get if you read it.

SL: A Lying piece of Sh*t

This is a dramatic piece.

From the beginning of that email, you find that out.

With me telling you how the mainstream media are against you.

SL: Women

The idea behind this is something to intrigue you.

Which it did,

What does this guy have to say about women?

After doing some testing I found that SL with one performs well.

Finally…

SL: I lost 1.5M last month.

Well, this email was a freestyle.

Nobody perfect 😜

This was something I realized the previous night.

Decided it would make a perfect email for you.

That's it,

As I'm writing this I don't even have an idea of what I would use for the SL but you surely see something there.
