I just found out that the link in the email I sent out on Monday was different.

Also, the email I sent out yesterday was the one I sent out on Friday but I sent it to an old email list.

Guess what…

That old list is still active even after not sending them a single email for 7 months.

Let's hope nothing stops you from experiencing the email today in full.

That just shows you how sometimes you might have planned everything to the "T"

Thought off every worst-case scenario…

And when you think you're set.

Something happened to derail your plans.

Now you can give up or go back to the drawing board and spend another 6 months coming up with something new…

Or you get back up immediately with what you have on the ground.

For example…

Before this Newsletter started this year.

It had been planned since October last year.

I already paid the designer to build the landing page.

It took about 2 months for this guy to come up with it.

At the end of the day, I had to let him go

Even after spending over NGN200,000 on it.

Hired a new designer and within a week we had a prototype.

He wasn't even done with it before I started sending leads to it.

I had planned on running ads on TikTok to generate leads for the newsletter

Threw that plan out of the window

Sent a message to my audience on WhatsApp and that's how we started.

I could have let the money I spent weigh me down and get to me or use it as an excuse that the project is not meant to be.

To summarise everything perfectly is a quote from the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the ring Mike Tyson.

"Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face".

You can lie down or get back up stronger.

If you get punched in the face, get back up as fast as you can.

The same thing goes for making sales

You might have modelled a winning funnel but you're yet to make a single sale.

Don't give up

Find where the problem is and solve it immediately.
