Half of the year is gone. The second half begins today. 2024 is behaving like a car accelerating downhill.

It is not uncommon to see people celebrate on social media what they've achieved in the past 6 months at a time like this.

Posts about new cars, new apartments, new houses, new jobs, and successful Japa plans are flying around on the internet.

On the flip side, some of us are yet to bag any major win in 2024. No cause for alarm if you fall into that category. It is not over yet.

I believe that the second half of the year has a lot of good tidings in it for us.

Come to think of it. No one can say God hasn't blessed him or her in some sort of way this year. But modern men can't see God because he doesn't look low enough.

Comparison they say is a thief of joy. Even if you would compare; Compare yourself with who you were yesterday not with who somebody is today.

When we compare ourselves to others, we only compare ourselves with a fragment of their lives they've made public.

Suppose you're aware of the battles some of these people fight each day. You won't dare wish to be like them.

That rich friend you're jealous of spends half of his monthly income on health-related challenges. But you'll never know.

That famous friend you want to be like is fighting drug addiction. But that part of him never gets to the gram.

How about that Snapchat baller that gives you sleepless nights? He has been an orphan since age 5.

The possibilities are endless.

Look inward, be contented with what you have & strive to be one percent better every day.
