This is the worst thing that can happen to you as an online entrepreneur.

And it just happened to me.

2 years of hard work were wiped out with a mail.

As I read through this so-called mail...

It felt like a punch just landed on my face, leading to the dislocation of my jaws.

I felt defeated. I couldn't wait to cry my ass out. But the tears wouldn't come.

I don't wish this for an enemy.

Halfway into my usual Twitter scroll, it paused. The app stopped reloading.

Then, came a mail.

"Your Twitter account has been suspended"

What did I do wrong?

I don't know. 

Just like anyone would do. I appealed. 

After that came an even bigger disappointment.

"Your X account will not be restored"

At that point. I knew I'd lost it. My Twitter account with 8k followers is gone and gone forever.

Thinking about it now...

I can't get over the efforts I put into building that account.  The sleepless nights... the late-night Twitter spaces... moments I'd buried my head under the desk in front of a lecturer to reply to comments.

All of that effort had just been wiped away.

But it's not all gone.

Thank God I started building a list early.

• WhatsApp contacts
• A Telegram channel
• My Email list. 

If not, my entire online business would have crashed.

If you haven't started building a list. It is time you do. It doesn't matter if you don't know what to do with them yet. Collect those WhatsApp contacts & emails. 

I don't know how long I will be off Twitter. 

For now, I'll be on WhatsApp.
