I missed my April newsletter because I have been frantically writing and editing my little heart out over the last month or so to bring you All That Glitters.  I am delighted to report that we are ready to go! Finally.

All That Glitters is book 2 in my Matestone Guardians series of quirky shifters, fated mates, and reverse harem romance. It’s light-hearted, steamy, and full of irreverent humor and beachy shenanigans. I included a sneak peek for you in this newsletter and I hope you love it!

Release day is May 9th (tomorrow!) and I seriously cannot wait to hear your thoughts on my heroine Kalena, her mates and the shenanigans they get up to.

Sneak Peek! Scene from All That Glitters

My skin prickled and I whirled around to see Bill sitting in a beach chair in a teeny-tiny yellow swimsuit that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. He gave me a little wave and set his tropical drink down on a gilded table that was sort of... smoking. My inner koala actually growled. I am going to be in therapy for so long.

“What? How? When did you get here?” I pinched the bridge of my nose. Bill was fucking weird and kind of scary.

“Oh, I’m here, there and everywhere, pet. You’ll get used to me. But if you’d rather…. I can leave and not tell you about Faery. I can go. It’s really no bother. Morning sun isn’t the best for my complexion anyway. I prefer a steady diet of afternoon hellfire.”

My shoulders slumped and I rubbed my eyes tiredly.

He got up to pack up his beach chair but I held out my hand in protest.

“No. I’m sorry. Please. We need help.”

Bill inclined his head and sat back down. I did my best not to look at his… swimsuit. But it was proving exceedingly difficult when it kept changing colors.

Grimacing, I shook my head to clear it and tromped over to the sand where he was perched.

He smiled benignly at me and waved his hand, conjuring up matching beach chairs for Frank and I.

“Beverage?” he asked solicitously. “Sunscreen? Maybe your bear in something skimpy?”

His eyes twinkled when he looked at Frank and waved his hand again. A poof of black smoke covered Frank from head to toe for a brief moment. When it drifted away, I clapped my hand to my mouth.

Frank was dressed in an equally tiny purple swimsuit, the fabric straining against his bulging manhood. Glittery purple tassels covered his nipples and a flowy, lavender robe decorated his shoulders.

“What the actual fuck, Bilexphiles?” Frank roared, clawing at the tassels trying to get them off. I giggled despite myself and Frank shot me a wounded look.

“Do you like purple?” Bill turned to me and asked. He tapped his finger on his chin. “I could also do green. The big, burly men always look good in green.”

He snapped his fingers again and Frank roared as the smoke came back.

I stared wide-eyed as my enraged mate appeared again, this time in an old-timey green swimsuit and swim cap. Across his calves were sock garters and he had a small walking stick in his hand that he was clutching like a club.

Bill studied him seriously. “You know, I just don’t like vintage on him. I thought it would work but it just.. doesn’t. Third times the charm.”

I gaped at him, trying to understand what the actual fuck was happening.

Before I could manage a scathing reply, Bill had waved his hand again and reached for his tropical drink and sipped it through the bright yellow straw.

Frank’s roar sounded more like his bear and I started to worry that we might be pushing him too far. I needed Frank in human form right now. It's hard to crisis-plan with a Grizzly bear. They don't listen.

This time, when the smoke cleared Frank was fuming. His swimsuit had changed to the tightest pair of boxer briefs I’d ever had the pleasure of seeing. They fit him like a glove. The red buffalo plaid weirdly worked for him, as did the buffalo plaid bow tie. Bulky brown boots and thick woolen socks completed the outfit.

I couldn’t stop staring. Frank looked… completely pissed off and utterly delicious.

“Right,” I tore myself away from eye-fucking my delicious flannel-covered mate and turned back to Bill. “I think we can focus maybe on Belfast and getting him back?”
