Here in the Pacific Northwest, it's been an exceptionally rainy start to summer with record-breaking rainfall for the last three months. 🌧️

I keep telling myself that we need the rain to prevent the horrific wildfires that we've had over the last several years but I'm also ready to turn my face towards that mythical sunshine or, at the very least, an excuse to leave the house without a jacket. :)

2nd Quarter 2022 has been rough in the Murray household. We've had:

COVID. It sucked. We're thankfully on the mend but I was out for several weeks and I'm still not 100%. 😷

Cat Surgery. Murray-the-Cat had a tumor removed off his face this spring. We are so grateful to the vet clinic for taking such good care of him and as of right now, we think they got it all! More pics of his grumpy self in his cone are on my Instagram. 🐱

Broken Bee. In my infinite grace, I fell off a single step and landed myself in a walking boot. It wouldn't be so bad except I live on the third floor. Moving around is a great big YIKES right now. 😐

Burnout. See above. I just... it's been a year. I think it's a combination of everything at once plus the stress from the last two years. I've been in a funk. 😩

I'll be honest - the month of May was basically a blur. I am hoping for a refreshed and renewed season as we celebrate the Solstice today. I am super excited about what is coming up for the rest of this year.
