How I saved £83 in 17 minutes

Hi

I just got off the phone to Green Flag - 17 minutes which saved me a wooping £83!

I'm sure you do this too, but worth remembering that whenever you get a renewal letter, they will always charge you more than you paid last year, and usually they'll take it down if you call.

While on the phone to Green Flag, I used their website to get a quote as a new customer, so I asked them to match that price which was £83 lower than the renewal price.

This type of admin is HARD WORK for me - my ADHD brain is great at creating new things but admin feels like running through treacle!

My hack for this is paying someone to body double me once a week for an Admin Hour.

We always address my most urgent and financially beneficial tasks (often paying parking fines as doing those on time saves me the extra high price!).

I've found that I save myself much more than I pay her, and save myself So Much Stress, because all the time I'm putting off tasks, they're eating away inside my head like a manic doremouse LOL. This way, I know that one a week we'll work together to get those urgent and important tasks done.

I totally recommend it!

And here's something I made ...

A Year of Thanks Charts

I've used it all year in my journal to inspire me to write down specific things I'm grateful for. Some months I've done it each day-ish, Other months I've filled it in once or twice in the month to collate things I'm thankful for. Either way, it's a lovely resource, which I thought you might like.

There's 12 pages, one for each month, with a space to add something you're thankful for each day. It's only £9.99, so less than £1 per month! And you can print it out again for next year. The sheets are A4 and so fit into my A5 journal across a double page spread, but you could also put them on the wall.

Maybe you'd like to just try it in January? Here's a Just January version for £1.49

That's all for this week
