Hello!
We're so looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow evening (Saturday 28th) for our Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra winter concert. It's going to be a fabulous evening in a lovely setting at Bedford School with a truly great violinist joining us for the Sibelius Violin Concerto, Jakub Jakowicz!
Please note that we are performing at the Great Hall at Bedford School (entrance on De Parys Avenue) and not at St Paul's, as originally scheduled. Our Front of House team will be there to guide you.
Please allow time to walk from the Main Gate to access the Hall. There is a lift to access the Hall. If you wish to use this, please leave plenty of time, as demand may be high.
The concert will finish at approx. 9.35pm. Again, please allow time to exit the site, if you are ordering a taxi.
Parking: parking is very limited on the school grounds, but you might be lucky if you come early!
If you or your friends haven't got tickets yet, here's the link:
Children go FREE, but do need a ticket and to be accompanied by an adult.
There will be tickets available to buy on the door, as far as we can predict right now, but I would advise that people arrive early. Doors will be open from 6.45pm.
As this concert was originally scheduled for St Paul's Church, please help us to continue to pass the message on that we are at Bedford School.
The orchestra and audience are now too big for St Paul's! What a lovely problem to have!
With many thanks for your help and I can't wait to see you tomorrow!
