Are You "Opportunity Blind"?

Good Thursday Morning:

Are you "Opportunity Blind"? What does that even mean?

It was a question I posed to myself after recently going through cataract surgery, and this turned into the latest installment of the Black Belt Leadership podcast.

It just released, and I wanted to freely share it with you.

Like cataracts, Opportunity Blindness can limit our field of vision, preventing us from leveraging the opportunities all around us, often disguised as problems or challenges. What are the symptoms of Opportunity Blindness, and is there a cure? That's the topic of this week's lesson.

Tomorrow, we celebrate the United States of America's 249th birthday. I recently had the privilege of dining at a restaurant that sat on the location of a colonial tavern where the likes of Benjamin Franklin and other Founding Fathers gathered to discuss the nation's independence from England.

As I walked the streets of historic Phildaelphia, I was reminded that freedom isn't free, as many of those who fought for the nation's independence made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.

This holiday weekend, we pause to remember the sacrifice of the men and women who fought for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation, and say "Thank You."

For those who served, and those who are still serving, you are valued and appreciated for your sacrifice.

Next week, I'm speaking at the 8% Nation Conference in Plano Event Center in Plano TX. If you're in the area, drop by and say "Hello."

Have a GREAT day,and an AMAZING weekend.
