It’s too easy to lose your mobile isn’t it?

Be honest, in the last few days how often have you put yours down and forgotten where you left it?

Not a problem at home or in the office. But in a coffee shop or on a train…? Scary…

Leaving your phone unattended is just one of the ways you’re putting your business’s data at risk. Especially if you haven’t taken the right steps to keep it secure.

Make sure any company-issued phone is secured with a passcode or biometrics (fingerprint or facial recognition). Where you can, switch on a PIN or biometrics for your most important apps.

And make sure your phone is set to delete all data if the wrong PIN is entered too many times.

There are other risks including malicious software, app security permissions, and not keeping your apps up-to-date.
