Hello ,
Greetings from Portland, Oregon. I'm here for a financial creator conference called FinCon. It's my first time on the west coast. So far my body is still on east coast time.
I went to my first FinCon conference last year and met other talented financial content creators and learned a lot not only relating to content creation but also systems for my business and tips regarding personal finance.
Money is usually the number 1 stressor for folks especially here in the U.S.
Awhile ago I mentioned estate planning conversations are hard to have with other adult family members. My hardest conversation is telling my dad I'm going on a conference or some event.
I'm his youngest child and I'm his primary caregiver and he lives with me. So before I go anywhere far, especially across country, I gotta make sure he has specific foods he can eat (finding low salt, traditional latino foods to cook is hard as hell to find in Delaware). I gotta make sure emotionally he is okay and letting his social worker at his day program know I'm traveling.
I just need to make sure he's good and not needing to have my wife do too much monitoring him while I'm away.
Anybody else has to do this? I would love to know your thoughts.
Off to Fincon I go! Talk soon.
