Hi ,
Long time no hear, at least it feels like it.
It's pride month and its' Men's mental health awareness month. If you celebrate pride month, Happy pride month.
I have to admit I was in a funk mentally in May. Seasonal depression for me occurs in the spring and it was kicking my ass. I'm feeling alot better and ready to educate.
I know there is alot happening in the world currently which can cause alot of anxiety. I know for many of us who are caregivers in the sandwich generation, alot of what is happening is a distraction from the potential cuts of Medicaid, Medicare and foodstamps. These lifelines are essential for our aging family members. Without these entitlements, we would be forced to bear more of a financial responsibility for our lovedones.
I would love to know what are you feeling and how I can help. For those caregivers in the sandwich generation, I am still offering a free 45 consultation on how your mental health is affecting your finances while caregiving.
I know I mentioned men's mental health month, I'm getting ready for my family vacation to Puerto Rico. Its' my first time back to the Island since 2007. I'm looking forward to it. It is a definitely much needed for my kids, wife and myself.
One last thing I want to share. Something cool happened on Fathers' day for me. I got interviewed by NYC Mayor Eric Adams on his radio show on 107.5 WBLS in NYC. Check out the video on my podcast youtube page.
Talk soon when I get back from Puerto Rico!
