its a Sunday and i just thought to drop this as you enter into a brand new productive week
As the lead mentor at MentoringBA, i realised that i almost forgot to do what i preach and wanted to share a story of my journey learning to skate.
If you are looking to transition into a new IT career especially Business Analysis or product ownership etc, you are exactly in the same place i was about a month ago when i wanted to seriously take up roller skating,
You can see the stiffness and fear written all over my face here and notice that i am in almost full gear preparing for a fall.
We have all been there and thats where the power of mentoring helps us achieve.
My present roller skating mentor is
- Younger than I am
- Has vast experience skating
- Is being paid to deliver a service
- Understands exactly what i need to do to get better
- Is available just a text away.
At mentoringBA, we may not be very young but will fill up on other pointers as above.
We are oresently working on a Business Analyst training and will be updating you in due course.
