Books!!!

So many books and more to come.
Dragoncon is coming so fast that I'm panicking. I have books ordered from Amazon, another 250 ordered from Elanders, and books I'm selling for another author. I'm trying to get Exiles' Refrain formatted and to the printers so I can have it in my store and ready for Dragoncon, but it is going to be very tight. Like very. I'm worried if I can'g get everything put in by the end of next week I won't be able to get it here by August 26th, which is my drop dead date. Okay really if they got here on the 28th, I could ask my brother to bring them, but still. ACCKK!
But on that note I have a reader magnet for you!!! Yep it is done. So if you want to find about about Jadaya - here is the start of her story - Exile. This link is only for you, so enjoy. Until I get a release date, other people won't get to read this.
Otherwise, I am finished up book 2 in the Cori at Large, but I might go work on another series, while I edit and get those ready to publish. There is one more book in the CaL series, but I'm unsure of where it is going to go.

Why
I knew it was a dream. It had to be. Books didn't fly. Did they? They kept coming and I kept running, dodging, and jumping. Trying to use them as steps, avoid their attempts to kill me, and keep going.
Where?
Panic thudded at the back of my brain and I knew, just knew that something bad was going to happen if I didn't get there. Where ever I was going. Running faster than I would ever manage in real like, chest heaving, I wanted to fall down and die, but I kept going. I couldn't stop, if I did everything would…. What? What would everything do?
I forced myself to slow down, look at the titles of the books, but they were all gibberish. Letters I recognized, but not in words that made sense. The fact that I could still breathe and wasn't on the ground throwing up, now that I let myself process that, was proof.
I stopped. My hand whipped up, almost of its own accord and grabbed the book flying right at me.
"No."
The worlds around me, the books paused and trembled.
No?
It wasn't a voice, or a thought, but it was a question.
"No," I affirmed and everything faded away, leaving me standing in the chamber I had entered not minutes before. A very large book sat on the podium before me, and it had a face. But not the horror book kind, but the face you'd expect to see on a tree, wise and curious.
"Two hundred years and you are the first no, I've had. Everyone else races to their destination, what they are trying to get to tells me everything. But you said no. So what do you want to learn here, at Shadowlight?"
The panic faded and it looked at the book, remembering why I was here, what I wanted. The challenge that I had to succeed at or I was lost, if it wasn't too late.
"I need to learn to why. "
The book blinked. "Why? Why what?"
I smiled slowly. "Exactly, I need to learn why everything."

I like everything except what the narrator needs to learn. It feels like the start of a series, but what is driving the narrator and what do they want. My brain I swear.
Don't forget to find me at Dragoncon. I'll send out my schedule when I have it.
