Dear ,
I write to you surrounded by a pieces of paper full of scribblings - these are the result of an idea I had on Friday night and they are the beginnings of a very exciting project that I hope to share with you in the Spring...
...and there I am going to leave it for now, which I know is a terrible tease, I'm sorry, really am I! I promise to share some progress with you when I have more than just scribblings to offer, which will likely be in the New Year. But I wanted to let you know there are exciting things in the works!!
Now without any further 'ado' here are this week's new notes;
We've swapped the commenting platform on the AYANE to Disqus - away from Facebook because it has a lot more functionality and generally looks more swish. Should be much nicer to use both for you and for us, so everybody wins!
There are also a couple of little aesthetic modifications around them which hopefully declutter the bottom of each post.
Album of the week : This week I've chosen Ólafur Arnalds' brand new album 'Some Kind of Peace'. Released two weeks ago it is serene, pensive and reflective – perfect if you are trying to de-cluttered your mind and relieve a little anxiety.
Playlist : Next month's playlist is officially now in the works, I'm really enjoying getting lost down the Spotify rabbit hole compiling it for you. This month's movie themed November playlist can be found here.
Piece + Quiet : Below is a handy button for your daily piece and quiet.
NURTURE
I apologise for not getting one of my new articles finished and posted last week - I just ran out of time. It is 'coming soon!'
In lieu of this I have created a new Pause for Thought post which if you follow the footprints in the sand, can be found here.
NOURISH
I've been perfecting my 'chilli con beanie' recipe for you all this week - my vegetarian and vegan friendly version of chilli con carne. Recipe coming soon!
Have a great week everyone,
Best wishes,
Samantha and Graham
