Hello, !

This month has gone so fast. I feel like I just wrote my August monthly update. Since the summer's over, not as much has happened this month as last. I do have a couple things to share with you, though.

Writing

This month, writing has been rather difficult. I've been getting into the swing of 10th/11th grade, (homeschoolers, you know? They never know what grade they're in) and writing has been a bit on the back burner. Usually, I get up every morning at 6:30 to write before the day starts, but that has been a bit difficult as school has gotten harder.

However, I have made a big accomplishment on my fantasy novel, A Hero of Alindell. This month, I reached 100 thousand words.

Below is an AI picture that I created for inspiration. While I don't really know what my plans are for this book (you can read about that here), it's exciting because I've never written a project this long before. (If you are interested in reading the book, you can email me, and I'll consider letting you read it as I write it! 😂 No promises as to how good it will be, though.)

Art

Ooh, art. In this field, this month has been pretty great.

I started and finished another watercolor from the fantasy book I mentioned last month.

I also did my first realistic sketch in color---and it turned out well!

And, just in the last few days, I did another drawing. This took me two days, and I was excited to be able to speed up my process, and still produce good art.

Encouraged by the responses I got on this post, I also created a small gallery of original art. Some of the pictures will be familiar, but I am looking forward to adding more as time goes on.
