We had to say goodbye to this little guy this week. We rescued Monty as a six week old kitten - someone had cut off his whiskers, he had cat flu, an eye infection, and we later discovered, a heart murmur. He became poorly over the weekend, and sadly, by Tuesday, we had to make "that" painful decision to let him go. I keep reminding myself that he had 7 years with a loving family that he may not have had if we hadn't rescued him. He's certainly left a Monty-sized hole in our hearts.

But as a tribute to my fur baby, I wrote him into my upcoming release, Dad Bod Undercover Boss. So when you read about him with his owner, Eva, the heroine of the story, know that Monty's history is based on real events ❤️
