Dear Reader,

As March stands in the wings, waiting to make its grand entry, I'm sitting here amazed at how two months have gone by already. Where does the time go? I hope that you've seen new things happening in your life in these past two months.

I've been doing the adult parenting thing pretty hard this month, including a road trip to Richmond where my youngest will be moving to start her first job as a nurse, once she graduates in May and passes her NCLEX exam. We toured four apartments and she's already decided the order of the three she will apply for. We were channeling HGTV's "House Hunters" after we left each one, discussing their merits and demerits. She drove down and back, and though she didn't mind driving, it was tiring. But it was so lovely to return home to Chaz's enthusiastic welcome that I thought I'd share an image of him with you (see above).

These are a few of the over 100 pictures that I took. The first in this set was taken in Whitehall, NY, at the start of the trip.

This next set was part of the Tibetan exhibition at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art.

The last is a mix of shots from Fort Gregg Adams (also in the first set) and the grounds of the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. The top two are the base and statue of a Black horseman astride his war steed titled "Rumors of War", at the entrance to the VMFA.

imageI got exactly zero work done while I was away for the last week--though I enjoyed every second of it--so I need to buckle down and get busy if I'm to meet my March deadline. And with other stories in the planning stages, I must step up the pace. A meeting with my publisher has me planning a much larger KT Bond series--the first romantasy (romance and fantasy) series--than I had originally intended, but it's going to be so good, I promise you!

Although I had to pause the Amazon ad, I can report that it worked well enough that I made a bit of money off it, including the sale of books, not just page reads in Kindle Unlimited. I also believe that my once-daily TikTok posts have drawn a few more readers to my Amazon page to see and test my offerings. So 'Try" seems to be working. Next up ... trying the Kindle Vella story.

Don't forget to check out my TikTok page ... there's a lot to see and enjoy. https://www.tiktok.com/@authorkt/ Until next time, happy reading!

À bientôt,

KT
