News of the Girl

Good evening, Honeys!
Is it me, or did April simply FLY by? Tomorrow it will be May; happy May Day to you all! This is the month dedicated to mother love. Let me wish all the mothers among you a beautiful day of celebration on May 11, when it's celebrated here in the States.
I have lots of writing news to share, and a question I'd like you all to answer for me. PLEASE send me your answers by responding to this email. In fact, let's start with that, shall we?
So, I'm organizing an anthology for charity---pancreatic cancer research---in honor of my friend and fellow writer, Twyla Turner, who has bravely been sharing her journey with us. She's a curvy girl with a big, happy heart, a sassy spark, and a love of travel, Scotsmen, and dogs, among other things. She writes novels that let the light of love fall on curvy Black women in African American, interracial, and multicultural relationships. Here's the question.
Which of the reasons below would encourage you to purchase this anthology? You may choose as many reasons as apply to you.
- You enjoy plus-size heroines and body-positive representation.
- You enjoy multicultural and/or interracial romances.
- You enjoy high-heat, open-door content.
- You support diverse, inclusive (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disability representation) stories.
- You have a personal or philanthropic connection to cancer research.
Again, I welcome all responses to this poll. They will be greatly helpful to me in deciding on promotional and marketing strategies before I take the next steps in this process. THANK YOU, in advance, for responding!
Here are my book recommendations for this month from Twyla. You may remember her novel His Muse, which I recommended last year. Today, I introduce you to two others that have received wide acclaim for their inventiveness and creativity, and of course, their curvy heroines.
Bound through Time ~ Present and Chasing Day are very different stories in many ways. For example, the first includes a time-travelling Viking, the second a musical genius. Both books are part of a series, but may be read as standalones. However, I know you'll want to read the first and third books in the Bound Through Time Series, and you'll definitely want to know where else Chase and Day end up in the second book in that series.
Please support Twyla by purchasing these and any other of her books that you may find yourselves interested in. She loves to make her readers happy, and will also enjoy hearing from you. You'll find her on Facebook here: Twyla Turner, Author.
Now, you already know I'm planning an anthology. You know The Pilot's Wife is on pre-order, coming June 15th. If you haven't pre-ordered, why haven't you? At the rate time is flying by, it'll be June 15 before you know it.
You know I'm finishing my third book under my other pen name, AJ Buchanan. It's called Playing It By Ear, part of the "No Strings Attached" series. Have you bought the other two---Orchestrated Love and Facing the Music? They're available now on Amazon and other platforms.
Also in the works are two other KT Bond novels: Mascarpone and Mayhem, which I will publish independently in 2026 (if it's rejected by the editors I've pitched it to), and By Sun and Candlelight, which may come out late in 2026 also. M&M (yes, that's its nickname) is a mafia romcom. BSAC is a later-in-life, second-chance romance between two adults over 45. Both are interracial.
As you can see, I'm very busy. And this is just the writing. The business side of authoring is hard work, as well, but I'm doing my best to hold my own. As always, thank you all for your loyal support. If you'd like an ARC of any of the books mentioned here, please let me know when you send in your response to the poll.
And don't forget, if you haven't already signed up to be on my ARC or other teams, use this form to do so.
Please remember to pre-order The Pilot's Wife and to leave me a review for other stories that you've read. Remember to click the links in the titles to find what you need. Until next time.
À bientôt,
KT
