Happy August, dear Reader!

Time flies whether or not you're having fun. I can't believe it's already the eighth month of the year. Some of you have already survived a deadly hurricane and wild and woolly tornadoes. There's been record heat and record rainfall, and summer is still only six weeks old. Go figure!

My summer's been pretty exciting so far. The RSJ Conference was exceptional, as expected, and I'm registered for another online conference starting on August 8th and going until the 10th. I'll be working on a 2-book Regency romance series, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot from this conference. Click on the name to go to the website, in case like me, you're a lover of Regency romance: Regency Fiction Writers 2024 Virtual Conference.

I've spent the last five weeks with my daughter, helping her settle into life as a single New Yorker in the South, and I've enjoyed every second of it. Is it bad of me to say I didn't miss home? I visited a nature center, petted cats and dogs at the SPCA, and enjoyed the Samurai exhibit at the Virginia Fine Arts Museum.

Still, all good things must come to an end, and I'll be heading home tomorrow to my grandchildren.

The Pilot's Wife is chugging along. I'm working on episode 23 now. It should be up by tomorrow. Fingers crossed. If you haven't begun to read it as yet, you still have three full months to get caught up. The story ends in October, on my birthday.

And a final book recommendation before I leave. Siera London "writes heroines you know, heroes you love, and romance you feel." She is a USA Today bestselling author who writes contemporary and paranormal romance, romantic suspense, and crime fiction. Fake It Till You Make It is her latest novel. Get to meet a new writer and enjoy all she has to offer!

Now, I'm off to bed. Next month I'll hopefully have news about a new KT Bond series to share with you, and a teaser for the next story in my Twelfth Day of Christmas Romance series. Until then, be well!

À bientôt,

KT
