It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like ARC time!

Oct 03, 2022 3:17 am

Dear Reader,

What an eventful fortnight it has been in our part of the Atlantic basin. Hurricane Fiona did a number on some Caribbean islands, its effects reaching as far north as Nova Scotia in Canada. Then Ian came along and multiplied the sorrow. I am thankful for all who survived this latest storm and hope that you will all find the strength and courage to pull your lives back together in the aftermath. My prayers go out to you all! Please accept my best wishes as you move ahead with rebuilding your lives.

And now for something completely different...how would you like to be a member of my ARC team? ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy and is given to anyone who volunteers to read any story of mine that I provide free of cost and who agrees to leave a review on a selected platform, be it Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Google Play, or Apple. You are free to leave your review on as many of these as you wish, as well as on any other where it can be posted, for example, on Goodreads. The due date for reviews to be published is November 1, which is the date of publication.

In November, my latest novella will be part of the Christmas anthology Wanted: Mistletoe which already has a cover for all the stories. This is the stand-in cover for my story, to give you an idea of what I'm thinking of including when the time comes. This cover image will be changed once I can publish the novella on its own. This is my second attempt at creating an inviting cover. It will not be my last.

So...would you like to be on my ARC team? I'd love to have you, and you'd get first dibs on my newest releases. If you respond within the next forty-eight hours, you'll receive your first ARC. It's the novella above, now called A Very Pregnant Christmas, and it's one of the stories in the Christmas anthology,

Not only did I change the title (from Five Golden Rings), but I reworked the blurb as well. Here's the updated version:

A Very Pregnant Christmas

Is there room in her heart for an unexpected new love? Is he ready for a different kind of love?

Katherine Bancroft lost her husband to the war in Afghanistan. He had been her only love, and she’s not sure she can bear to open her heart to another man after such a premature loss. Besides, Jacob MacGregor isn’t just your average man…he’s a minister of the gospel. What would she even do with such a man? She’s never met a preacher like this one.

Dr. Jacob MacGregor has never been in love with anyone but his Lord before. Then he meets Katherine Bancroft, and suddenly, the world is a much brighter place, his work is more inspiring, and his heart can’t stop singing. But Kate is a widow with two sons and reluctant to commit to a second chance.

Join Kate and Jake as they look back at where they started and look forward to the birth of their newest babies.

Here's the link to my Teams application form. I look forward to hearing from any of you who are interested. And once you've signed up, I'll explain more about the requirements for this ARC. https://forms.gle/Dg9Px2wV6EZuDRt79

This is an exciting opportunity for me to partner with other writers, some of them USA Today Bestselling authors, to bring you some holiday cheer. You'll find stories by Shelley Munro, S. A. Clayton, and Pandora Snow, among many others. Click on their names to visit these authors on their Amazon pages, and click on the title of the anthology to find other authors whose work you may enjoy.

And don't forget to click on the Teams application link to join my ARC team if you want first dibs on my new relases.

I'm off now, my friends. I succeessfully completed one project, but two more are looming for this month. I must away to do my duty. It's a good thing I love what I do!

À bientôt,

K. T.

P.S. Have you received the welcome gift for new subscribers to my newsletter? If you haven't, here's your chance to get it now. Click here --> The Way She Kneels.
