Forty years ago, July 9 was a Saturday. How do I know this, you ask? Because it's my anniversary, y'all! My first thought when I woke up this morning was "Damn, I'm old!" Chuckle with me, it's okay! LOL! My second thought was, "At least, you're not pushing up daisies, girl." There's ALWAYS a bright side to things, I find. The jewel for the 40th anniversary is a ruby everywhere, apparently, except in France where it's an emerald. Hence the photo above.
