As The End of the Year Fast Approaches~
Nov 01, 2024 8:31 am
How? How is it November already? This year sort of flew by in a blur. So many exciting things happened this year.
I started my first ever series since I started publishing.
My day job paid for me to go to Europe for the first time ever in my life (Barcelona is must visit, BTW).
After taking advice from a fellow author, I took a brave leap, and now my books are starting to be available in audio for the first time ever.
Beta readers are wrapping up their read of Winter Ends and the consensus so far is that they really love it. One even saying "You really stretched your author legs with this one."
I could have written Daniel and Shawn's book forever. They ended up being a surprise for me and for my beta readers. I started digging into Joe and Aiden. Don't worry. I'm not forgetting about them. They're starting off as lots of fun as well.
Just because we're stuck here doesn't mean I have to like you...
Daniel
They say you can’t run from your past. Whoever ‘they’ are were right; the change of scenery did nothing to chase away my demons. Just because your daddy owns the first place that hired me doesn’t make you impressive—even if you think it does. Your spoiled, smug personality could use some adjusting. Unfortunately, not a deal-breaker, since I find you so damn attractive. Inviting our friends to your family’s cabin for a weekend getaway is just you wanting to impress them. Like an idiot, I thought I’d go up early…
And now we’re stuck…
Shawn
I want to know all about the guy who ran away from the small beach town he grew up in. But I guess your best friend being part of a theft ring and getting locked up for it would make anyone do a runner. Yeah, I know all about it. You’re fooling yourself if you thought I hadn’t done my research. What I wasn’t expecting was everything else I uncovered along with it. Do our friends know what you used to get up to? I tease you because you intrigue me and it’s fun getting under your skin. I only went up early to make sure everything was ready, but now we’re snowed in at my parent's cabin. Alone…
Might as well make the most of it…
Winter Ends is book three in the Season of Change series. It has enemies that become lovers and learning to overcome past hurts. It can be read as a complete standalone, but is best read in order.
AUDIOBOOK NOW LIVE
The Date Mistake is available in audio! Narrated by the very talented JD Tomlinson. This is my first time doing audio of any kind and I was really lucky to have landed such an amazing narrator.
Seriously. I cried. In a good way. He brought Trevor and Aaron to life and had me swooning and falling in love with them all over again.
If you're in my reader group, there's been more big news about other titles coming to audio ;)
