Another Month in the Books and on to A New Adventure
Jul 02, 2025 2:22 am
If anyone has been following along on social media, you know that I was let go from my full time job back in April. It's been a rough journey, because I'd never had that happen before. It all came out of nowhere and I went into work that day thinking nothing was wrong.
Finding another job was another adventure. I applied for so many positions and went to tons of interviews, only to come up empty.
I'd been asked numerous times if I considered becoming a full time author. As much as I love writing... I don't know if I could make it my full time job. Like that would take the joy away from it. It's my escape as it is.
That being said, I took all that time off and got stupidly ahead in my writing. I'm done writing everything I'm releasing this year and started in on next year.
While I continued to not get a new job, I finally threw my hat in the ring for something completely different. Work I'd never done before, but my brother in law recommended as a good way to get my foot in the door.
So in the middle of June, I started working as a merchandizer for a beverage distributor. For those who don't know what that is... It means I get up at the butt crack of dawn and hit the grocery stores as they're just opening for the day and stocking the shelves. No, I don't work for the grocery stores.I work as a vendor and I'm only allowed to touch what my company handles.
Beer. I handle a shit ton of beer okay.
My body has been screaming at me for three weeks straight, but I'm starting to get used to it. It's nice to finally work at a place where my supervisors constantly remind me that I'm doing an amazing job. Maybe switching up what I was doing was the right move all along.
Anyway, I don't have much book related news this month other than If I See You Again is off to my editor and will be going to my ARC readers in a couple of weeks.
Oliver Williams has finished recording Spring Fling and I just need to listen to it and send it to ACX to approve it for release.

Perpetually undateable. That’s what you’d call me. Before I can get through the door, I’ve already told them too much. Getting stood up has become a sport. After yet another bad setup, I take a chance on the stranger at the table next to mine, but I’m not expecting what comes after.
This is why I should never think with my dick.

Another failed business trip. At this rate, all the terrible proposals could line a city block. When I stopped off for lunch and spotted the man who got stood up, I knew I had to shoot my shot. It didn’t hurt that he came with the added perk of being the new consultant I’m scheduled to meet the following morning.
Maybe I can convince him we can be more.
It's been seven years since Vi last set eyes on Dane. Seven years of avoidance and heartache. She's no longer the girl he left behind—she's all grown up and has returned to Fairfield Corners with a fiancé in tow. Resigned to a lackluster friendship, Dane's hopes and dreams are shattered. But when an ancient evil returns to wreak havoc on their lives, the truth of Vi's ability is revealed, and with it, the realization that her powers are not the only thing she's kept hidden from Dane.

My new teammate pisses me off. Everyone else is falling over themselves when Golden Boy flashes a fake smile. Me? I just want to wipe it off his face.
Off the ice, there’s no escaping Nick Sandoval’s dimples and plastic grin—because he’s my new roommate.
And on the ice? We need to get our act together, or else our final year of college hockey’s going to waste.
I can’t ignore him, and I won’t put up with that bullshit front he puts up for everyone.
Especially when I push his buttons just right and get a glimpse at something no one else has seen—the real Nick Sandoval.
He’s passionate, snarky… and hot as sin.

I’m in control on and off the ice. I don’t cause trouble and I don’t draw attention.
Until now.
Because Caleb Jennings is determined to make my ice-cold control shatter. He’s antagonistic, impossible to ignore, and has made it his personal mission to wind me up.
My game’s a mess when we’re on the ice together. When I get back to my room, I can’t escape because he’s there as well.
Caleb turns me into a person I don’t recognize. A version that fights back. A
version that wants things I really, really shouldn’t.
And one of those things I want… is him.
Zone Entry is an M/M dislike-to-love romance, perfect for readers who like the tension between roommates, hockey teammates, and hormonal college men.
