Well, the New York Style vanilla bean cheesecake has been eaten, the gifts have been opened, and another trip around the sun has been completed. Most importantly, we have birthday winners! My wife and two of our sons attended the Simon Kenton Festival this weekend, and I decided to hit the outdoor festival circuit hard next year. Book 3 will be out and I owe several local libraries an author event.

I'm very close to release the name for Book 3. After sharing my working title with my alpha readers, I decided to wait until they have finished reading the book to make the final decision. The first two were easy :/

Who is your favorite character of this series? I get a lot of mail asking for a Tabir story, or an Ember story (even had one asking for a Kikkabar short). Who would you like to see me do a story on? My first round of edits are 100% done. It's getting a pass from my editor now. There may be tear stains on my next newsletter :(

This means I have a couple of weeks to think about something besides Anuka Sandbar. I'll be writing, but I'm not sure what.
