Just when Ember wasn't looking, Nolan swooped in and stole his newsletter. I realize that I'm the only one with the schedule for these communications, but this was supposed to be Ember's night. Well, things changed.

The story is getting some traction on Royal Road. As such I've been thinking about what kind of story it is. I know it's Action. I know it's a Thriller. There are some Espionage elements and a touch of SciFi. But what is it? How would I pitch it to a publisher? It's not Jason Borne, or Mission Impossible, or James Bond. Is it Appalachian Espionage? It's less weird than it sounds. Espionage at it's core is one or more powerful entities keeping and uncovering secrets. I like the Appalachian setting. Thems my people. So I reckon Appalachian Espionage it is. Unless you have a better idea.
