I need a hand. I love crime books and thrillers, and I picked up my first Karin Slaughter book this week. Pretty Girls. I'm struggling :/ I think I know who the main characters are and I don't care for one and I really don't like the other. Has anyone read it? Does it get better? I can live with an anti-hero, but deplorable characters are tough for me to enjoy. This is coming from a guy who enjoys Joey Abercrombie.
