Crossing That Finish Line

Hey there!
We've been getting tons of rain this year, which further validates how strange Idaho weather is. Last year it was dry as a bone. Now it's almost nightly storms. I have to admit, I prefer the storms and wish they'd stick around all summer. Fortunately, we made some new chicken tractors this year! We have, so far, made a new chicken tractor virtually every year. I am definitely impressed with this year's version.
It was time consuming, and very expensive, but man those chickens are cozy. (pic at the end of the email). As a note, chicken tractor is just another term for moveable chicken coop/run. Chicken tractors is most definitely more fun to say, and it leaves people scratching their heads imaging a tractor made of chickens.
In other news, after weeks and weeks of me claiming to be 'very close to finish Dragonblooded, I can finally say that I wrote those amazing yet somewhat elusive last words just today.
'THE END'
Obviously this story is very far from actually being done, but the first draft is done, which is a pretty amazing feeling. I'll let that sit to the side for just a bit, opting to work on something new for the next couple weeks. After that, it's full on nose dive into edits. Depending on how long that takes, I'll need some BETA readers. If you'd like to read this YA portal fantasy story as a BETA reader, just let me know!
To celebrate, I'll pop in another AI generated image of David, the first person narrator and main character of Dragonblooded. (it's nestled with the chicken tractor)
