Pumpkin picking and fireworks!

Happy November! I've been getting into the spirit of the season with some very muddy pumpkin picking - I'll share a picture below. We've been to this patch the last couple of years and it's been great. We had a brilliant time this year but I think we left it a bit too late in the month - there was so much churned up mud and the pumpkins weren't in the best state, and had generally been picked and redistributed, rather than being on the stalks still! But we still had a great time.
We'll also have fireworks this week in the UK for Bonfire Night. I love them, but my daughter isn't keen, so I'll be watching out of the window!!
The sequel to 'The Beast of Blackthorne Castle' is well underway, and I'll share more with you as soon as I can!
Don't forget I've got two complete Regency series under Daphne Quinn: When the Wallflowers Were Wicked and The Marvelous Merriweathers. So if you're looking for some autumnal reading for the colder nights, you can jump into either of those!
Have a great start to November!
Daphne
